Gratitude is no one - step process .
And as much as I long to tune my heart in, gratitude - I know - is not always a preset station .
It isn't one click and walaa . Grateful heart .
Sri Chinmoy says gratitude "has to flow from the heart" --> be M O V I N G . A C T I V E . F E L T .
He says gratitude T H E N goes to the mind .
I don't think "I want to be grateful" and gratitude just happens .
No, there is a process .
And with the mind, gratitude can be experienced + expressed in T H O U G H T .
And gratitude moves to the vitals + body where it can be
experienced + expressed in W O R D S + A C T I O N S .
Until E V E R Y T H I N G that we H A V E + A R E
is a sea of gratitude .
There is something remarkable in the imagery behind a S E A of gratitude .
I've always been drawn to the sea . Captivated by it, I guess .
It never seems to end .
It's depth is too great to know .
There is so much mystery + wonder in a sea .
Like, I don't completely understand or K N O W it, but I am left in awe .
And that, it seems, is the same conclusion a grateful heart would leave .
In which all that I
H A V E + A M
is endless gratitude .

I would love to have others join in taking small moments each day to begin filling each empty space in a gratitude notepad like my own . Writing those W O R D S, those reminders off all that you may have to be grateful for . Already sent out several notepads, but a few remain . . . so join in the goodness, you .
And for a look into my thankful mind 1 1 . 2 1 . 2 0 1 2 :
