Grateful 3 0 | T H R E E

What refreshing words to hear . A grateful heart embarking in a continuous feast .
C O N T I N U O U S .
F E A S T .

Since last month when it began to T R U L Y feel like the season of fall, I have already been anticipating the Thanksgiving feast that will occur in just a few short weeks . There is something about having a kitchen full of smells and sights for happy eyes to behold .

And the continuous feast never involves myself, alone . It is a communal event . A continual feast - starting in the morning snitching the fixings as they are on their way out of the oven and to and from counters and tables and stovetops, to the meal itself when we all gather around and partake in the foods we have toiled over, to the after.meal.meal left on the table to continue picking at between football and snoozes on the couch, to the round.two of it all, when we gather again and serve up the late meal once more, being sure not a slice of pie or a dallop of whipped cream is left to waste .

There have been times that the feast is almost better and more satisfying the second time around .

A  C O N T I N U A L  feast .
A continual F E A S T .

Yes, it's continuous, but it isn't even that a grateful heart is sitting at a table of tiny portions and bits and pieces here and there . Little dabs of this or a spoonful of that . This is a F E A S T . And a feast is hearty and plentiful and abounding, and in this case, continuous .

And that is refreshing to me this day .

A L S O :

I would love to have others join in taking small moments each day to begin filling each empty space in a gratitude notepad like my own . Writing those W O R D S, those reminders off all that you may have to be grateful for .  Already sending out a few notepads . . . join in the goodness, you .

And for a look into my thankful mind 1 1 . 0 3 . 2 0 1 2  :
